Founder Success Story QnA
How have you been since our last interview 10 months ago?
It’s been a while, thank you for having me again. It’s been a bit different but I’m still in The Real World. After my last interview, I invested in my own coach, spending 5K on someone who works with me one-on-one to improve my copywriting. I’ve also moved into my new house. It’s been a big 10 months with a lot of challenges and blessings.
What kind of messages were you receiving from women regarding your hijab and business?
Many women reached out because they are in The Real World but felt unsure how to pitch businesses as a Muslim woman wearing a hijab. They didn’t have the confidence, thinking business owners might judge them. Seeing my interview gave them the confidence to go out and implement their skills.
How do you advise women to pitch to businesses effectively?
I tell them not to sound too pitchy or salesy. Just be human. At the end of the day, you are a business owner and they are a business owner; you both need each other. Take it from that angle. Also, if they don’t need your services now, follow up in three months. Business owners appreciate that determination.
What challenges have you faced in your copywriting journey?
When I first started writing for business owners, I got good results, but I forgot to improve my own skill set because I was so caught up in getting them results. That was a mistake. Now I do something called Kaizen, where I sit down once a day to improve my copywriting or sales skills by 1%.
When did you get a personal coach and how has it benefited you?
I got a coach about seven months ago. It’s going really well. I told him my crazy goal, which is to eventually do marketing for Andrew Tate. He charged 5K, and I paid it on the spot because I knew I needed his level of expertise. He helps me improve my emails and marketing strategies to reach that goal.
What is the driving force behind your goal to work with Andrew Tate?
When I first joined The Real World, I had no money and was living with my parents. The skills and advice I learned there changed my life. I feel more people need to know about it and how it helps them escape the matrix. I want to be alongside them to help their cause.
What blessings have you experienced over the last 10 months?
Our income has increased a lot; we have 10x-ed our income. Money is not really an issue anymore. We bought a car outright because we don’t believe in finance, and we bought a house. Additionally, my relationship with God has gotten a lot better, which has made me a better person overall.
How is your average day now compared to when you started?
Back then, I was in survival mode, working all the time. Now, I have the freedom to wake up at 1 p.m. if I’m tired. I can block off weeks for family weddings and be present with my loved ones. I enjoy what I do, and while there are challenges, I have the freedom to choose which challenges I deal with.
How would you break down the layers of understanding copywriting over the last two years?
When you start, you think it’s just writing, but it’s not. It’s researching your target market, analyzing numbers, and improving daily. You also need to learn sales, closing, and negotiation. A huge part is networking; I get on a call with a random business owner every Tuesday. This builds a network where clients refer me, so I don’t have to hunt for them constantly.
What are your short, medium, and long-term plans?
Short-term, I’m still working on my copywriting. Medium-term, I’m building my own offer to help others. Long-term, I want to work alongside Andrew Tate’s team in sales and marketing to create an impact. I know this will take time, but I’m willing to put in the work.
Are you planning to build an agency?
I’m 50/50 on it. I know how stressful overheads and managing a team can be. If I don’t build an agency, I’d love to build a mastermind to help people one-on-one. I want to be present and actually help students, which is often missing in courses.
How has dedicating more time to God impacted your life?
Yes, definitely. I can now pray without rushing, taking breaks from calls to connect with God. This has made me softer towards people I care about. Before, I was harsh on myself and others. Now, I block off Fridays for prayer and reading the Quran, which brings blessings and shifts my mindset on challenges.
What advice do you have for people unsure about joining The Real World due to fear of being scammed?
I understand that mindset, but what if it goes right? For me, I took that risk despite my family’s doubts, and now I live a fruitful life in all areas. If you have a scarcity mindset, you won’t grow. If you think it’s a scam, consider the possibility that it could change your life like it did for mine and many others.
