Founder Success Story QnA
Let’s start with your age and your name.
My name is Sadish. I’m 40 years old.
How long have you been in The Real World?
I’ve been in the real world for about a year now.
What brought you to The Real World? What made you invest your $50 and start this journey?
I’ve been in business for about six years now. Around mid-last year, I was looking online at different people giving coaching advice. None of it really resonated with me. It was a lot of motivational things and motivation only works for a little while. I used to listen to a lot of Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate interviews on YouTube. They had good things to say about the university. So I thought, it’s $50. Let’s have a look and see what’s inside. There might be something I could use.
What resonated with The Real World that didn’t resonate with other programs?
One of the main things which kept me in was the business campus. I saw someone who’s willing to teach me who’s actually done this before and he’s very successful. He’s teaching from experience, not just from a textbook. It’s all practical and very easy to access. There were other students who also had vastly more experience than I did. That’s something I’ve been lacking – finding people who are higher than me but I’m able to access and network with them.
How is the information broken down in The Real World?
It’s broken down in ways that it’s easy for everyone to understand. You can go from zero experience, join The Real World and you’ll be taught in a way which you will be able to pick it up. Sometimes you enter an industry and things can seem foreign. In The Real World, it’s broken down into bits so it’s easy to digest. You don’t need an MBA to start a business course. You don’t need a finance degree to start an investment course. It’s very easy to follow if you’re willing to put in the work.
What courses did you gravitate toward?
My primary course is the business campus because I run three businesses. I also spend a fair bit of time with Andrew’s copywriting campus. Copywriting is like a superpower which gives you additional points for everything. You get better at talking, writing, texting, emails – it enhances everything. I’m also involved in the crypto campuses, mostly Adam’s campus. I’ve used Min’s social media lessons to enhance my social media capabilities. I had zero social media up until this year.
How did you find the social media campus when you were previously off the grid?
It was very easy to get into. The lessons are fundamentally very straightforward. Anyone can pretty much pick it up. Opening a Facebook page or Twitter is pretty straightforward. The difficulty is understanding how you can use it to enhance your business. How to use it, how to make it work for you – that’s the secret sauce.
How long did it take you to make your first dollar with The Real World?
That’s a slightly tougher question seeing that I already had a business. But if I was going to say how The Real World helped me make that first dollar, I’d say within the first few weeks. I was able to use some of the lessons to enhance what I’d already been doing. What I may have made a few thousand with, we could add another $500 on that. Within a week or two, it helped me grow clientele.
How did you go from a handful of clients to many clients?
Arno’s Business in a Box course gives you a checklist. While I already had a business, doing Business in a Box almost gave me a step-by-step checklist. It gave me the opportunity to go back and check – look, I haven’t been focusing on this as much. Let’s strengthen this. Social media – I’ve got none of that. Let’s go do some reading and look at the social media campus. By going through that list, I was able to check what I could sharpen. Outreach is always good. Let’s revise my email list. When you’ve been doing something for a long time, you forget some of the basics sometimes – the foundation work. And they’re the most important.
Do you wish you had entered earlier?
I believe it would have enhanced me earlier. However, I also feel that if I had entered earlier, I may not have had the right mindset to dedicate myself to it. I was coming out of a time when I’d lost a business and taken massive losses financially. When you lose, your family loses confidence in you too. Coming out of that took time to consolidate my energy to get back on the horse. The time I entered was the right time – when I was taking steps to fix myself and my businesses.
How do you find the community support in The Real World?
Absolutely. While we’re not making fun of one another, there’s definitely a lot of support. There’s always locker room talk, but end of the day, we want to support one another. I get plenty of good feedback on my ideas and work from other students, and a lot of them are better than me. Students on the business class leaderboard are making millions a month. They give me ideas, inspiration, and tell their stories of how they worked their way up.
What would you say to people thinking about joining The Real World?
If you’re thinking of joining The Real World, you want to make a difference in your life, I’d say you’re making a very good choice. There’s a lot of opportunities and methods to make yourself better. The Real World is one of the best platforms where you can access a lot of knowledge at a very cheap price.
