Introduction
Building a profitable real estate marketing business requires more than just technical skills; it demands a radical shift in mindset. Alexander, a young entrepreneur, transformed his life from being a regular student to generating $3,500 monthly by solving high-value problems for real estate agents. By combining expertise in consumer psychology with modern outreach methods, he built a scalable system that allows him to work independently from anywhere in the world.
Founder Success Story QnA
What was your life like before joining the real world?
Before joining The Real World, I didn’t have any like-minded people to work in conjunction with. Most people I knew didn’t really want to work hard or make more money than their peers. It is kind of funny, but most people I was talking to thought $3,000 a month meant they were rich and didn’t need to work anymore. I always wanted more. I knew that successful people buying expensive cars and big houses every few weeks weren’t making that small amount of money. I wanted to become independent and not rely on a geographically fixed job. I was just a regular student going to school, and my parents helped finance my rent, but I wanted to control my own income and have my own team.
How did you find out about the program?
I have been following Tate since 2020, before he blew up on TikTok. I was watching his older content and his rants in his Aston Martin. Then I saw a video by Alex Kong reviewing the platform. I saw the big results people were posting and realized that with hard work and patience, there was no excuse not to make money. I found most other educational platforms were messy or old school with outdated content. When I saw the teachers were already millionaires putting massive time into AMAs and Q&As, I realized this wasn’t just an average course; they were thinking about the long term for the students.
Was copywriting the first campus you joined?
I looked at all the campuses for the first day or two. I chose copywriting because I didn’t have much money, and while I had some time, I still had school. I actually thought copywriting was about trademarks at first! Then I realized it was about writing emails and using human psychology to get people to make decisions. At first, I offered just copywriting services and sent a bunch of emails, but I didn’t get many positive replies. Instead of giving up like many others do after 100 emails, I reframed my offering. I launched a freelancing business model specifically for real estate agents.
How did you use the different skills to build your unique business?
I used the copywriting skills for the ads and emails, but I also used lessons from Dylan in the freelancing campus for cold DMing and framing sales calls. I built an ecosystem of knowledge rather than just using one thread. That is how I got results. If something isn’t working, it isn’t the email’s fault or the prospect’s fault; it is your fault. You need to rethink and reshape it. At the point where you want to give up most is usually when the extra email gets you the client.
How did the community impact your progress?
The community allows you to interact with people who have the same knowledge and goals at each level—from Pawn to Queen chat. If people are having difficulties, you can anticipate those problems before they happen to you. When you do freelancing alone on other platforms, you give up quickly because there isn’t a strong community pushing you. In The Real World, people are giving you new tips and aspects to check every day, which helps you get through the grind.
How is the business scaling at the moment?
It is going great. For my first client, I did all the Facebook ads and copywriting myself. Now, I have hired a video editor and a closer to filter and qualify the leads. The closer I found was a real estate agent since 2019, so he has experience in that niche. By networking with other students, I found people with the potential to help me scale. I am currently making $3.5K a month, but since businesses scale on an exponential curve, I am confident I can hit $30K to $50K a month by later this year once the proof of concept is fully rolling.
What are the three biggest lessons you learned?
The first is patience. People who send 50 emails and leave get nothing; the people who send 300 and get their first client on the 300th are the ones who succeed. The second is self-reflection. You have to analyze the chessboard. If you are losing, you are the problem, not the client. The third is speed. Speed is the difference between winners and losers. If you say you will do something tomorrow, you often won’t do it. If you send an email in five minutes instead of three days, people respect your work more.
You also have other ventures. Can you tell us about those?
I have other businesses not directly related to the campuses. Because I learned how to approach people more successful than me using cold DMs and being humble, I connected with people running large businesses. One group works in the UK and US, but since I speak French fluently, I offered to help them in Switzerland, France, and Belgium. I have already closed two deals for them in the last two weeks with a total value of about $20,000 per month each. Ten months ago, I was just a regular guy at school, but now I am doing things usually reserved for people much older.

Key Notes
The road to $3.5K/month was paved with failures and pivots that eventually led to a stable system.
- Success is often found in the 300th email, not the first 50.
- If outreach is failing, the problem is usually the offer framing.
- Bilingualism (English/French) opened doors to untapped $20K/month markets.
- Delegate tasks as soon as the proof of concept is validated.
- Avoid the “smart person bell curve” where you overthink simple instructions.
- Speed in execution is the most respected trait in professional networking.

By remaining humble and focusing on speed and volume, he transitioned from a regular student to a business owner with international clients. His strategy of combining copywriting with specialized real estate marketing proves that the most valuable asset in the modern economy is the ability to generate leads and close deals. As he continues to delegate and scale, the path to five and six figures becomes a matter of consistent execution.
